Setting Up Windows XP

Using Internet Explorer 6:

1. Click on Start > Settings > Control Panel and Network and Internet Connections.

2. Click on the Connections tab and select Never dial a connection (Figure 11).

3. Click the button labeled LAN Settings at the bottom.

4. Uncheck all options (Figure 12).

5. Click OK, then OK again to exit Control Panel.

6. Close Control Panel.
